Bryan Black is a writer, creative director and viral content creator with more than 20 years of experience creating compelling and innovative campaigns for both traditional and new media.

Bryan produced some of his most acclaimed work at 4-time agency-of-the-year Deutsch Inc. where he spent nearly 10 years of his career leading the development of creative campaigns for a wide range of national and global brands. As Executive Vice President and Creative Director, Bryan played an integral role in the rapid rise of Deutsch Inc, helping to win numerous new business pitches that enabled the agency to grow from a 70 person shop with a single office in New York City and billings of $40 million to a bi-coastal advertising powerhouse with more than 1000 employees and billings in excess of $2 billion. While at Deutsch Inc, Bryan was presented with the opportunity to lead a groundbreaking new concept in targeted niche marketing when he was appointed Creative Director of dRush, a joint venture between Donny Deutsch and music impresario Russell Simmons focused on the youth and urban markets.

With a desire to expand his expertise beyond the realm of traditional media, Bryan left Deutsch Inc and in 2009 joined 100 Mile Group, a brand incubator and creative marketing agency. In 2011, 100 Mile Group launched a spinoff agency focused on startups and emerging brands called BrandFire where was a partner and creative director. Through his work at 100 Mile Group and BrandFire, Bryan honed his skills as a multi-disciplinary marketer handling everything from strategic brand development and positioning to creative direction, brand activations, partnerships and innovative digital campaigns. His brand development work with Zico Coconut Water helped the company gain significant market share and led to its recent acquisition by Coca-Cola Co.

In addition to his stellar talent as a Creative Director and Marketer, Bryan is also an experienced team leader, having served as the lead on large global accounts. Bryan not only aims to build and nurture strong client relationships, he also prides himself on cultivating and mentoring junior creative talent while inspiring them to work efficiently and collaboratively to accomplish team goals.

Throughout his career, Bryan's work has touched leading brands in virtually every category - from retail and consumer packaged goods, to food and beverage, automotive, technology and more. His breadth of experience in creative direction and branding along with his keen understanding of traditional and new media has earned him a reputation as an expert in creating fully integrated, 360-degree campaigns that help the world's most iconic brands tell compelling stories.

In the summer of 2020 Bryan founded Mister Black, a branding and advertising agency with the belief that all business deserve world-class creative.
